Case summary
On 31 May 2012, he was charged with participation in the activities of a public or religious association against which a court decision on liquidation due to extremist activities had come into force. On December 11, the court ruled that the charge was unlawful; however, even earlier, in November, the investigation had re-filed the same charge. On 29 July 2014, he was sentenced to a fine of 50,000 rubles (exempted from payment due to expiry of the statute of limitations); on December 12, the Rostov Regional Court overturned the decision of the Taganrog court and on November 30, he was sentenced to a fine of 70 thousand (exempted from paying the fine due to the expiration of the statute of limitations).
