Yuri Baklushin

On 31 May 2012, Baklushin was brought in as a defendant in a case involving the organization of activities for a public or religious association against which a court decision on liquidation due to extremist activities had entered into force. On 11 December, the court ruled that the charge was unlawful. However, even before that, in November, the investigation had re-filed the same charge. Baklushin was also accused of enticing two minors to commit a crime. On 29 July 2014, he was sentenced to five years and three months' suspended imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 roubles (exempted from paying the fine due to the expiry of the statute of limitations). On 30 November, he was sentenced to five and a half years' suspended imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 roubles (he was exempted from paying the fine due to the expiry of the statute of limitations).
