Case summary

Russian and Israeli journalist, prose writer, poet, playwright, scriptwriter, TV and radio presenter, satirist, publicist, educator. In December 2021, he was included in the register of "foreign agents". He left Russia. Shortly after the outbreak of the war, he joined the Russian Anti-War Committee. On 14 October 2025, the FSB reported the initiation of a case against Shenderovich and other members of the committee for violent seizure of power and for organizing the activities of a terrorist community. The case was prompted by the adoption of the "Berlin Declaration" on the need for a change of power in Russia.
