Case summary

A political scientist. In April 2022, she was included in the register of "foreign agents". In March 2025, it became known that a case was brought against Shulman for evasion of duties of a "foreign agent". On 14 October 2025, Russia's Federal Security Service reported about the initiation of a case against Shulman and other members of the Anti-War Committee of Russia for violent seizure of power and organisation of activities of a terrorist community. The reason was the adoption of the "Berlin Declaration" on the need for a change of power in Russia.

On 2 March 2026, Shulman was sentenced in absentia to a year in a penal colony for evading her duties as a "foreign agent".
