Case summary

Detained on the 4th of February 2015, along with 30 other suspects, for their alleged involvement in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir. He was subsequently arrested on charges related to participation in a terrorist organization. He initially pleaded guilty, was then placed under house arrest, and later released on a recognizance not to leave. On the 30th of July 2018, he received a five-year sentence in a general regime penal facility. He was eventually released in July 2022.

In November 2012, Fazylov was also detained in connection with a criminal case related to his association with Hizb ut-Tahrir.
