Case summary
Detained on 4 February 2015 as part of the prosecution of members of Hizb ut-Tahrir on suspicion of participation in the activities of the terrorist organisation, arrested, in January 2016 the charge of preparation for violent seizure of power was added; there are reasons to believe that he was subjected to physical and moral pressure in the pre-trial detention facility, including beatings, also went on hunger strike.
He is a group III incapacitated person (polyosteoarthritis against the background of intervertebral disc protrusion, with pain syndrome), needs an urgent operation and does not receive the necessary medical care in the conditions of the pre-trial detention centre; prison doctors refuse to conduct an independent medical examination of his health condition in the presence of a rapidly progressing disease.
On 30 July 2018, sentenced to eight years in a strict regime colony. He was released on 3 February 2023.
In October 2018, he was sentenced for membership in Hizb ut-Tahrir to eight months' imprisonment on charges of organising the activities of a banned organisation.
